Close Talking

The motorboat pursued the catamaran as I watched and then caught up to confer. I was imagining dire things instead of friendly chatting. The waves were rough enough that it seemed perilous to hold these vessels so close to each other, but all seemed to be well when they parted.
Cargo

Here is a container ship zipping through the area between my house and St. Barth's - a fairly unusual sight though I am not sure why. I see plenty of ships, but not many container ships. From the name on the side of this one I think it originated in Europe and is headed to Guadeloupe.

Developments, Old and New

The 4 buildings in the background are the new Bluemarine development, condos built by the Spadaro group (from Maho and Aquamarina). The red roofs in the foreground are what is left of some of the buildings from the Mullet Bay Resort, which used to be an excellent place to stay on the island but was destroyed in Hurricane Luis in 1995.
SXM, from a distance

This is a picture of SXM taken from Rendezvous Bay on the island of Anguilla. I think it is super pretty.
